Board of Directors

SAHS Board Directors play an important role in the success of the organization. By serving on an array of committees, Board Directors allow the Society to fulfill our mission to record and interpret the Swedish presence in America. Our directors have a diversity of backgrounds and are drawn from both academia and the wider Swedish American public. The Society is very proud of its Board's accomplishments.

Directors are elected for a term of three years and may serve an unlimited number of terms; however, after serving two full consecutive terms, they may not sit on the Board again until at least one year has passed.
